Why are we doing so well?

free expression

We work together as a team. There's no big separation between students and teachers. We value discipline but also aim to treat our students as equals. However, the student always gets the final say in their painting.

Composition

A design with quirky, playful twists of shapes and sizes is also attractive...

Our Teachers

They explain topics using separate sheets rather than drawing directly for the students.

Praise

Showing the worth and cherishing the individuality of each drawing is crucial. We even have a tradition where, at the end of class, every student explains what their picture means to them and why they decided to draw it.

No comparisons

No comparing or sticking to the same templates. We want to express the importance of being original through art.

Joy

It is acceptable to talk, have fun and rejoice in the lessons. After all, this is why we need creativity, don't we?

"Whether the young artist continues their artistic journey isn't a big deal. What counts is that they keep this experience with them and carry a sense of beauty, creativity, and independence into adulthood!"

Why is painting important for children?

Once, as a new school year approached, I found myself pondering how art shapes our students' futures. I realized that art lessons do more than just teach skills—they encourage kids to think differently and explore things deeply. When they are examining the shape of an object, noticing the colour of the sky, or realizing the uniqueness of a face, art encourages them to ask questions and understand the world and their emotions better. This sensitivity fosters important qualities like empathy and the sensibility of beauty, helping individuals navigate life more authentically.

Creating art involves tackling various challenges like proportions, composition, and interpretation. Over time, this teaches artists to think outside the box and pave their path in life. Today, we often call these qualities creativity. But in reality, they signify a thoughtful, non-traditional approach to problem-solving, from simple tasks to groundbreaking innovations.

"Remember, artists are no longer impoverished eccentrics but creators of our future in entirely different spheres of life!"

Do you know how adult students end up at our studio?

It's quite simple. They can't help painting anymore! And do you know why they didn't paint before, even though they had the talent and desire? Because, from a young age, we heard "Being an artist isn't a real job," "All creative people are drunks and beggars," and, of course, "Artists are on another planet." Due to these arguments, many creative people ended up. They pursued "serious and lucrative" careers instead. Every now and then, they realise that not living up to their potential makes them unhappy! Artists face many challenges when painting a picture: nailing the proportions, perfecting the composition, and infusing their unique artistic style. Over time, this pushes them to think creatively not only in their art but in life as well. They don't conform to the norm. They forge their own path, shaping their methods, values, and life's direction. Today, we label these attributes as creativity. Yet, it's truly about a profound, reflective, and unconventional problem-solving approach, spanning from the intricacies of painting to pioneering innovative creations.

The Future

It's clear that in the near future, emotional intelligence and creative thinking will be highly valued, surpassing traditional qualities like diligence or discipline. The profession your child chooses won't matter as much as their belief in their talents, ability to think outside the box, and approach routine tasks unconventionally.

Thinking

The key skill of the 21st century is the ability to think deeply, creatively, and broadly. We don't anticipate all our students pursuing careers in the arts. However, we are confident that by engaging in diverse creative activities, they'll develop abstract and productive thinking skills, approach problem-solving with creativity, communicate their ideas effectively, adapt to advancing technologies, and handle the fast-paced flow of information. The dynamic changes in our world require students to be adaptable, proactive, and innovative, ready to lead and create something valuable and new.

The Education System

Throughout our years of teaching, we've crafted an educational approach for children that begins with introducing them to a range of styles, techniques, and tools, allowing them to explore without limits. This fosters a love for creative activities. As they progress, we gently steer them towards academic proficiency while incorporating contemporary techniques and approaches in art.

Overcoming stereotypes

Many of us grew up hearing about struggling artists in rundown studios, tucked away in chilly attics or basements. It's tough to shake off those stereotypes. Even more challenging is promoting a new mindset where artists aren't seen as eccentric and impoverished but as successful, sensitive individuals who work in delightful workshops and value their craft and time!

Comfort

Art Classes offers a beautiful and comfortable environment where you can bring your childhood dream of creating and expressing emotions to life through painting, drawing, and much more!

Appreciation of beauty.

Our clients are already successful individuals. They have no desire to travel the difficult journey from poor workshops to the National Gallery. Our students are beginner artists who aspire to beauty and aesthetics around them and in their works today! "Art Classes" is the studio for aesthetes who want to make their dreams come true!
